Laurent Perrier Rose Champagne Delivered Same Day | 24 Hour Laurent Champagne Delivered

Laurent-Perrier Rose Champagne traced its establishment to 1812 when a former Cooper and butler by the name of Alphonse Pierlot bought two parcels of land called "Plaisances" and "La Tour Glorieux" in Tours-sur-Marne. Pierlot willed his business to his cellar master, Eugene Laurent, who operated it with his wife, Mathilde Emilie Perrier. After Eugene Laurent departed in 1887 his widow, Mathilde, took charge and attached her name to the business, changing it to Veuve Laurent-Perrier (Veuve being the French word for widow). Veuve Mathilde led the organisation to great success, producing 50,000 cases of Laurent Perrier Rose Champagne. This victory was short-lived, due to the eruption of World War I and the disruption it caused to all of France and French business. Following this catastrophe, Veuve Mathilde hired Alexander Fletcher Keith Mackenzie to precede and market Laurent-Perrier Rose Champagne in the UK. In 1925 Veuve Mathilde died, leaving the firm to Eugenie Hortense Laurent. Due to the difficulties from World War I and the next outbreak of World War II, Eugenie sold the corporation to Mary-Louise Lanson de Nonancourt in 1939. Marie-Louise financed all she could in the company, keeping it afloat through the turbulence of the war, at sone point mortgaging 1,000 cases of Laurent Perrier Rose Champagne she had concealed in a wall. Her adored son, Maurice, died during the war in the concentration camp at Oranienburg willing his brother, Bernard de Nonancourt, as the heir. Upon Bernard's arrival from war, his mother began to set about teaching him on every aspect of the Laurent Perrier Rose Champagne making at the Houses of Lanson and Delamotte. In 1949 Bernard de Nonancourt converted to the owner of the company and saw it become one of the greatest family-owned Champagne houses. The de Nonancourt family still holds majority ownership of the business to this day.
